Dr. Bryan Eason

Dr. Bryan Eason is board certified in cardiology by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM). Dr. Eason received his veterinary degree from Oklahoma State University. He then spent two years at the University of Missouri completing an internship in Medicine and Surgery followed by an internship in Cardiology. Dr. Eason then went on to complete his residency in Cardiology and earn a Masters Degree at Purdue University.

Following residency training, Dr. Eason had a choice where to move and immediately chose the Pacific Northwest. Before founding Evergreen Veterinary Cardiology, he worked at a large multidoctor practice in Tacoma but has done relief work at many hospitals across the Puget Sound.

Dr. Eason has also served as an adjunct supervising diplomate for resident training at the University of Missouri for several years and lectured internationally on a wide range of topics related veterinary cardiology.

Off duty, Dr. Eason loves travel, sports, the outdoors and spending time with his wife, daughter, and their yellow Labrador.

Kalyn Rivera

Cardiology Assistant

Kalyn joined Evergreen Veterinary Cardiology in the summer of 2019. Originally from Sacramento, California, Kalyn lived in Washington State from 2014 to 2017. In 2018, she was happy to hear that Washington would become her permanent home to continue raising her rambunctious boys.

Kalyn has a real passion for her work. She has fallen in love with the specialty of cardiology and looks forward to being able to care for her patients and their families every single day.

Outside of work, Kalyn enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, sports, and experiencing all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. She takes a great deal of pride in being able to balance her children and career.

Kelsey

Kelsey first became a veterinary assistant in 2019 and immediately fell in love with the job. She is now a part of the EVC team, joining in 2022. Before working in veterinary medicine, she volunteered at the NOAH animal shelter in her free time. This is where she first discovered her passion for working with animals.

Born and raised in Washington, Kelsey loves exploring the PNW, but also enjoys traveling to new places. She also likes reading, weightlifting, and is an avid Netflix watcher. Kelsey is also kept very busy by her kitten “Pepper”, a mischievous calico who’s always getting into trouble.
